Filipino Films Win the Hearts of Italian Audience



Three Filipino films win awards at three different film festivals held this month of September in Italy.




Lav Diaz's "Ang Babaeng Humayo" won the grand prize - Golden Lion -- in the main competition of the 73rd Venice International Film Festival.




Eduardo Roy Jr.'s "Pamilya Ordinaryo" bagged the BNL Audience Choice Award at the 13th Venice Days.


Mel Chionglo's "Iadya Mo Kami" starring Allen Dizon grabbed the Best Actor award at the 13th Salento International Film Festival held in Tricase, Italy.
